WHAT IS FLORIDA MISSIONS

General Questions

What is Florida Missions?

Florida Missions is a collection of our in-state mission trips. Our goal is to provide every youth ministry with options for local mission opportunities. You can choose which trip is best for your group. We believe every young person should attend a mission trip before graduating high school. These trips will provide an affordable opportunity to serve and reach the lost. This year, Ocala Missions and Miami Missions are the two separate opportunities that we have available. To change the world, we must reach every community with the love of Jesus.

What is the Purpose?

The purpose of Florida Missions is to present the Gospel to the lost and hurting. To love communities with the love of Jesus in a tangible way. Students will be taken to downtown, to depressed areas, and given opportunities to minister to people in migrant camps and parks.

What type of ministry will we do?

We will be doing street ministry involving drama, singing, person-to-person witnessing, preaching, etc. Your team will need to come prepared to minister on the streets. Be prepared to do service projects like cleaning a neighborhood or even putting new shoes on kids. Mostly you need to come with a servant’s heart and an expectation to see God move in the lives of people.
