YOUTH LEADERS AND CREATIVE CONFERENCE

Youth Pastors, Leaders, and Creatives from all over the state of Florida come together to be encouraged and challenged to lead in our ever-changing ministry roles. The primary goal of this event is to equip leaders in our community in the most effective way possible. We bring in premier leaders from around the country to invest in our community. Additionally, this is an incredible moment where most leaders are able to focus on themselves rather than their youth ministries.

EVENT ATTENDANCE:

In a typical year, we will see 300-400 in attendance. Youth Pastors, Adult Leaders, and Lead Pastors all attend this event.

FINE ARTS FESTIVAL

Students from all over the state of Florida come together to develop their ministry gifts. Our festival provides them with an opportunity to be evaluated by Fine Arts professionals. They are scored based on their performances and compete with their peers. These students will develop their gifts in several of our 82 different categories. The main divisions include: Art, Communication, Dance, Drama, Instrumental Music, Vocal Music, and Writing.

EVENT ATTENDANCE:

In a typical year, we will see 2,000 student participants. There are over 3,500 people in total attendance. Over 150 churches from our community join us. Students from 13-18 years old, Adult leaders, Parents, Youth Pastors, and Lead Pastors all attend this event.

RISE YOUTH CONFERENCE / EMPOWERMENT CONFERENCE

We are bringing two events together into the same venue on the same weekend. They will remain as separate events, but the promotional opportunity is twice the exposure. Empowerment Conference equips and empowers our student leaders to make an impact. The entire event focuses on Holy Spirit empowerment, evangelism, and outreach. Rise Youth Conference brings our youth ministry community together to worship the name of Jesus in a fun and presence-driven environment.

This is an amazing opportunity to serve and make a huge difference in the life of young people from all across Florida. It would be our honor to include you in the volunteer team for our PFYouth events. However, we do expect our volunteers to be a step above average, especially in their attitude. Our volunteers must be hardworking, high-energy, team players who do not allow “boredom” or “frustration” to show on their faces. By volunteering at our event, you represent the entire Pen Florida District. For this reason, we do ask you to please make sure you are bringing students who are mature and experienced enough to serve with excellence.

YES, WE UNDERSTAND: The volunteer coordinator will contact you with more info regarding the volunteer schedule. Youth Leaders and Creative Conference set up is between 10 am and 4 pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023. All volunteer booths need to be cleared during or immediately following the final session on Saturday, February 25, 2023.

Rise Youth Conference / Empowerment Conference set up is between 9 am and 6 pm on Thursday, November 17,2022. All volunteer booths need to be cleared during or immediately following the final session on Saturday, November 19, 2022.

YES, WE UNDERSTAND: The volunteer coordinator will contact you with more info regarding the volunteer schedule. Fine Arts required arrival is at 9:30am on Thursday, April 21, 2022. At this time, volunteers will unload the PFYouth trailers and set-up for the event. A mandatory volunteer meeting is during lunch on Thursday. Volunteer booths set-up time is from 3pm - 5pm on Thursday. All volunteer booths need to be cleared during the celebration service and out of the building by 5 pm on Saturday, April 23, 2022.

YES, WE UNDERSTAND: PFYouth covers meals during times that volunteer groups are serving at the event.

Hotel Accommodations(Required)

YES, WE UNDERSTAND: PFYouth covers a Thursday night & Friday night hotel stay for volunteer groups. We make a commitment to arrive on Thursday and leave on Saturday after the event tear down.

Group Responsibility(Required)

YES, WE UNDERSTAND: The volunteer groups assumes the entire responsibility and liability for losses, damages, and claims arising out of injury or damage to booth displays, equipment, and other property brought upon the premises and shall indemnify and hold harmless the venue, agents, servant, employees, and PFYouth Ministries from any and all such losses, damages and claims.

I understand that I must provide a list of our volunteers organized by groups of 4 for the hotel rooms which includes full names. I will email it to youth@penflorida.org 45 days before the event.

Volunteer Expectations List(Required)

We will print out the volunteer expectations list and make sure our group is prepared to follow through with them.

Sponsorship Oportunity(Required)

For a higher level of promotion, I understand that our group will need to contact the youth department at youth@penflorida.org or sign up for an exhibitor/sponsorship booth as well.
